This Caterpillar was found in western Sydney on a:

  • Gum Tree ( Eucalyptus, MYRTACEAE ),

    between leaves joined with silk. It was buff coloured with a broad dark brown dorso-lateral line each side, a thin dark dorsal line, white between segments, and a pale brown head. It grew to a length of about 1.5 cms.

    It pupated in its leafy shelter.

    The adult moth had grey patterned fore wings, and yellow hind wings with a black border, and had a wing span of about 2 cms.
