The caterpillars of this species live in a shelter made of leaves of its foodplant joined together with silk. They have been found feeding on the leaves of:

  • Swamp Mahogany ( Lophostemon sauveolens, MYRTACEAE ).

    The adult moths are small, reaching only a span of 1.5 cms. They have striking wings with a network pattern of white, orange, and light and dark brown. The species has been found in:
