The pupa is mottled brown with a length of about 1 cm.

The butterflies are pale blue with dark forewing tips. The dark areas are larger for the females. The males have some black veins in the middle of each forewing. Underneath, the males are pale blue and the females pale brown Both have an arc of black spots around the hindwing margins, and just two black spots under each forewing margin. The wingspans are about 2.5 cms.

The species occurs mainly in the north of Western Australia.
