The adults of this species are brown on top, with areas of iridescent blue. There is a pair of black spots at the tornus of both the upper and lower surfaces of each hindwing. The undersides otherwise are fawn with irregular dark arcs that are edged with white. The wing span is about 2 cms.

The species has been found inland on hills in southern Queensland and northern New South Wales.
