The adult moth of this species has brown forewings with a yellow diagonal bar and a red inner margin.

The hindwings are dark brown, each with an orange mark near the middle, and yellow scalloping around the edge. The moths have a wingspan of about 5 cms.

The species is found in north Queensland.
