The Caterpillars of this species appear to feed upon the roots of the plant :

Tussocky Cord Rush ( Ecdeiocolea monostachya, ECDEIOCOLEACEAE ).

The adult moths have brown forewings with white markings, and red hindwings with dark brown markings.

The species is found in the tropical north of Western Australia.
